"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened."
Matthew 7:7-8

God asks us to rejoice always, pray continually, and give thanks in all circumstances (I Thessalonians 5) and to pray about everything (Philippians 4).

I invite you to share your prayer concerns with me so I may pray for you. Let me know if your request is to be kept confidential or to be shared with others who will pray for you as well.

We come to God by the authority of the name of His son, Jesus, our Lord and living Savior. Because of Him we can come boldly to the throne of grace (Hebrews 4).

James 5:16 tells us "the prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective". We do not have a righteousness of our own with which to pray for you. "Christ Jesus... has become our righteousness (I Corinthians 1).

We do not demand of God but humbly ask knowing He loves and cares about us. We should think first about His will and purposes and glory as Jesus taught in the Lord's prayer... "Hallowed be your name, Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth."
